Met Eireann forecasters say the county will have more lovely sunshine this weekend – with temperatures of 17c on Saturday and up to 18c on Sunday.
“It will be exceptionally mild for this time of the year,” said a Met Eireann spokeswoman.
“The weather will become settled with southeast winds stirring dry and very mild air from the continent towards Ireland.”
And it gets better – with at this stage more of the same being forecast.
The Met Eireann spokeswoman added: “Next week the weather is likely to stay settled and dry, with light winds. The days will be very mild, but the nights will be cool with some grass frost, as well as a few fog patches.”
The good weather could give an early Easter boost for the tourism industry following a fine Bank Holiday weekend last week.
