Glenswilly are to be named Club of the Year at the Donegal County Board Banquet tomorrow night.

The county champions are expected to celebrate after a terrific year both on and off the field.

And to celebrate the club are to push the boat out –for its supporters.

The club are to face Ardara this Sunday and it has been decided not to charge admission for supporters.

The day will be a celebration of the club’s win and also a thank-you to fans who have followed the team for the past year and beyond.

A spokesman said “It’s going to be a great day and everyone is really looking forward to it.

“We are a relatively small club but we certainly punched above our weight last season.

“We are hoping as many people as possible come along on Sunday because it will be a real celebration of the club at all levels but especially for the underage teams.

“Hopefully it won’t be long when those players are collecting the senior title for us again,” he said.
