LORD OF THE RING 3 LINE-UP CERTAINLY PACKS A PUNCH

Some details of this year’s Lord of the Ring White Collar Boxing event were announced last night.

The event, now in its third year, will see Letterkenny Rugby Club team up with the Donegal Hospice for what promises to be a great night.

And here is a brief list of victims……sorry… volunteers for this year’s event (see poster for last year’s event – right.)

They include Chris O’Donnell, Martin Glackin, Cathal McGlynn, Tony McBride, Gerard Callaghan, Johnny Duffy, Ronan O’Donnell, Martin Anderson, Karl Sweeney, Jeremy Worth, Ciaran O’Dowd, John D Rouse, Emmet Haughey,Derek Plumb, Brendan Logue, Stephen ‘Head’ McConnell, Trevor Alcorn, Lee Haughey, Sean O’Donnell, Seimi Nallen, Enda Merritt, Leonard Watson, Johnny Keating, J J McCormick, Davy Moore, Edel McKeon, Catherine Russell, Alana Gallagher, Anne Robinson, Donna McCrossan Russell, Edel Melaugh, Grainne Kennedy and Sinead Devine.

Some of those who have volunteered are already on the pads while others are on the ropes.

The public has been invited to give the boxers names before the event.

We asked Jeremy Worth his fighting name but it was like pulling teeth trying to get an answer.

Leonard Watson was very ‘casual’ about his training but has promised us a ‘classic’ bout.

And while Anne Robinson may be ‘Boyd’ on by her older brother, we’re told she’s certainly not the Weakest Link.

Further details of the event will follow shortly.
