DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR SUNDAY, APRIL 1, 2012

LAURENCE CARR

The death has occurred of Laurence Carr, Millbrook Donegal Town. Removal from Letterkenny General Hospital at 4pm today to arrive at his residence at 5pm Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.15am for Funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town at 11am. Burial immediately afterwards in Clar Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Coronary Care or ICU Letterkenny Hospital. House private until Monday morning and on the morning of the funeral.

ROIS DOHERTY

The death has taken place at of Rois Doherty, Dubh, Ahilly, Buncrana.  She died at her daughter Mary Mullen’s Residence at Bree, Malin Head.  Her remains are reposing at her residence in Buncrana.  Funeral from there on Tuesday at 10.15am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only.  Donations in lieu to the Diabetic Association c/o any family member.

JIM HUNTER

The death has taken place at the Ramelton Nursing Unit of Jim Hunter,  Cranford.  His remains will leave the unit at 6pm this (Sun) evening, going to his brother David’s home atCranford.  Funeral Service at his brother’s home on Tuesday afternoon at 2pm, followed by interment inMilford Cemetery.  Family flowers only please.  Donations in lieu if desired to the Patients comfort Fund, Ramelton Nursing Unit.

MARGARET McGUIRE

The death has taken place at the Nazareth House in Fahan of Margaret McGuire, late ofNazareth House, Fahan and formerly of Moneydarragh, Gleneely and Carndonagh. Removal from Murphy’s Funeral Home, Tooban,  Burnfoot this evening (Sunday) at 8pm, going to her nephew Gerard Doherty’s residence at Ourt Gleneely, travelling via Muff and Carndonagh. Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later.

BILL NICHOLL

The death has taken place of Bill Nicholl, Conolly Homes, Malin Town. His remains are reposing at the oratory in Connolly Homes. Requiem Mass there on Tuesday morning at 11am, followed by burial in Lagg Cemetery, Malin.

JIM DOHERTY

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Jim Doherty, “The Fiddler”, Legnahoorey, Kilmacrennan. Removal from Chapel of Rest at Letterkenny Hospital today (Sunday) at 6.30pm, going to his late residence.  Funeral Mass in St Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennan, at 2pm on Wednesday followed by burial in Templedouglas Cemetery.

CHARLIE KELLY

The death has taken place in Letterkenny Hospital of Charlie Kelly, Barrack, Newmills, Glenswilly. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in St Columba’s Church, Glenswilly, followed by interment in Kilpheak Cemetery. Family flowers only.  Donations if desired to the Intensive Care Unit, Letterkenny Hospital c/o Con McDaid & Sons, Funeral Directors or any Family member. House private from 11pm to 10am, and on the morning of the funeral.

PETER MCGINLEY

The death has taken place in Letterkenny General Hospital of Peter McGinley, formerly of Crowe, Dunkineely. Removal from the Hospital this evening (Sunday) at 6pm going to The Church of St Joseph & Conal, to arrive at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Monday) at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

BELLA BRENNAN

The death has taken place in Dunlgoe District Hospital of Bella Brennan, Meenacross, Dungloe. Her remains will leave McGlynn’s Funeral Home, Chapel Road, Dungloe this (Sunday) afternoon at 3pm going to her own home.  Funeral mass in Meenacross Church on Tuesday morning at 11am, followed by interment in Dungloe Cemetery. Family flowers only please.  Donations in lieu if desired to Dungloe Patients Comfort Fund c/o any Family member.

ROBERT VERNON GRAHAM

The death has taken place as the result of a tragic accident of Robert Vernon Graham, Aughnish, Ramelton. House and funeral private. No flowers please, donations if desired to RNLI, Sheephaven Sub Aqua and Mulroy Coastguard.

PADDY ANDY CAMPBELL

The sudden death has occurred of Paddy Andy Campbell, Meenmore, Dungloe. His remains are reposing at his late residence.  Funeral mass tomorrow (Monday) afternoon at 1pm in St Crona’s Church, Dungloe, followed by burial in Maghery Cemetery.
