Guest Tea.

The hall was packed to capacity for the guest tea school fundraiser. It was a great night. The local band Tyrconnel Martyrs played a few tunes. Master Breathnach sang a song followed by the hilarious Fergus Cleary. A great success and well done to all.

 

Bend At Lettermore Bridge.

Councillor Cora Harvey has met with council engineers on concerns raised by local residents regarding the bend near Lettermore bridge, and has been notified there will be some safety work carried out.

Tyrconnel Martyrs Flute Band

The local band will be busy on Easter Sunday. Playing in Gweedore after 11.00am mass, then Drumboe at 3.00pm, and then back to Drumkeen for 6.00pm. Anyone wishing to travel contact Harry on 0877741054. Band practice in the hall as usual on Tue @ 7pm Learn to play the flute or drum. New members always welcome. Contact Patrick on 086 2366004 or just turn up on the night.

 

Annual Easter Sunday Commemoration.

The annual commemoration will take place at 6.00pm. Starting as usual at the housing estate and walking to the local monument. All welcome.

 

Donegal Fibromyalgia Support Group

Holding monthly meetings as follows:

1st Wednesday of month in Education Centre, St. Conals, Letterkenny 7pm – 8.30pm 13th April in Millbrae Health Centre, Stranorlar 6.30 – 8.30pm. This is a chance to speak to others, who live with this Chronic Pain Condition, which is both not well known or understood. Why not come along for a cuppa & chat. Speakers are sometimes in attendance. Refreshments are provided free of charge. for more info contact Jude at 0863945008 after 7pm or mikejay1@eircom.net

Drumkeen Utd

Our 35th Anniversary Free Members draw will take place in Jameson’s Bar on Fri 4th May 2012.18 prizes to be won. Tickets €10 each or 3 for €20. All proceeds in aid of new Astro Turf training pitch. Tickets available from any club member or at the clubhouse (074 9134208)
