GAA NOTES: FOUR MASTERS

The €50 winners in the Annual Lotto for Week 38 were Joseph Mongan, Cullionbuoy and Irene & Eddie Doherty, Finabans. The numbers drawn were 6, 10, 13 & 16 with the jackpot now standing at €1,200.

The Reserves and Seniors travel to Dungloe on Easter Monday for their opening league fixtures of 2012. Throw-in times are 1.30 pm & 3.00 pm and your support would be appreciated.

Club members, managers, coaches or administrators interested in either a First Aid/Defib Course or Defib Refresher Course on Saturday April 28th should book their place with Deborah Lacey (087) 2199730 as soon as possible.

Adult Membership can still be paid to Registrar, Michael Martin and members are also still being sought for ‘Club Donegal’ at a cost of €200.00 for the coming season. Further information available from Sean Dunnion, Maeve Espey or Paul Timoney.

The Under 14 Girls played their first game of the season on the March 27th at home to Aodh Ruadh. The girls had a great win by 2.13 to 3.04. Well done to all the girls and the management team. The next league game is on Tuesday April 10th away to Bundoran with a throw-in at 6.00 pm.

 

The South Donegal Under 14 Girls Feile competition is on Good Friday in Mountcharles, 5 clubs will compete to get 1 winner to go to the county finals. Competition will start at 10 30 am. Please come along to support the girls.

 

Under 10 Girls coaching will commence on Tuesday April 17th from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm at the All-Weather Training Pitch at Tir Conaill Park. Please contact Kelly Lacey on 087-9919035 for further information.

 

Under 12 Girls coaching continues on Mondays from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm for all girls born 2000/2001 at the All Weather Training Pitch at Tir Conaill Park. Contact Matthew Shovlin on 086-823255 if you require further information.
