The senior men had a excellent win over Naomh Ultan on Saturday evening on a scoreline of 3-12 to 1-5. Best for Milford were Cathal McGettigan who scored 2-4, Sean Gallagher, Kevin McGee and Luke Barrett who contributed 1-4 from midfield.
The reserve team also had a great win over N Ultan on Saturday on a soreline of 2-7 to 12 points with super sub Aidan Cannon coming on and scoring 1-4.
Well done to the U-15s, who beat local rivals Termon in the Gaelteacht competition on Friday with good performances from Kane Barrett, Conor Gormley, Conor McHugh, Shay Durning and Gavin Grier.
The senior team got their league campaign of to a great start with a hard fought seven-point victory over Convoy. This was a real battle for the girls built on a great defensive display with Karen Peoples, Sarah Sheridan and Tara Friel especially to the fore. The management would like to extend their thanks to Convoy’s Stephanie Bonner for her assistance. The U-14’s continued their winning ways with a great win over Letterkenny Gaels. Best for Milford were Leah Duggan, Claudia Ward, Saoirse Kelly and Lianne Boyce.
