Garda have recovered a stolen forklift worth more than €50,000.
The machine was stolen from a Donegal County Council yard at Skeoge, Inishowen over the weekend.
It is understood the machine, a Manitou telescopic forklift, was being rented by the council when it was robbed.
The thieves broke into the yard by cutting through gates with a wirecutter.
However Gardai on patrol recovered the machine which was parked on a remote laneway.
