For one night only, Friday 27th April, at 8 pm, the Cloughaneely Players present Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” in Dunlewey Theatre.

Set in the Kingdom of Denmark, the play dramatises the revenge Prince Hamlet exacts on his uncle Claudius for his murder. If you have ever been intrigued as to why this play about a Prince of Denmark should be considered (as Carlsberg would have it) “probably the greatest play ever written,” then you now have the opportunity to see it with a ‘Cloughaneely players twist’ in all its gory glory !

The play vividly portrays both true and feigned madness – from overwhelming grief to seething rage – and explores themes of treachery, revenge, incest, and moral corruption. Admission: Students €5, Adults €10.pay at door.

All proceeds will go to help in the promotion of youth activities in Dunlewey. For more details contact Rein on 0877 825892.
