SCHOOLS GAA: ALLIANZ FINALS

ALLIANZ GAA FINALS: The first of the county finals take place this Thurs. 19th April in Burt at 2.30pm when the Roinn 1 finals will take place. Scoil Iosagain, Buncrana will take on the holders Lurgybrack in the girls game. The boys final will see St. Mary’s, Stranorlar try to overcome the challenge of Gaelscoil, Leitir Ceanainn who will be wanting to hold on to their title.

Roinn 1 Stranorlar v Gaelscoil, Leitir Ceanainn (Boys) – Thurs. April 19th in Burt @ 2.30pm

Roinn 1 Scoil Iosagain, Buncrana v Lurgybrack (Girls) – Thurs. April 19th in Burt @ 2.30pm

Roinn 2 Tooban v Creevy/Killymard (Boys)

Roinn 2 Scoil Eoin, Moville v Scoil Aodh Rua & Nuala/St. McCartons

Roinn 3 Kilmacrennan NS v Dooish/SW winners (Boys)

Roinn 3 Kilmacrennan NS v Castlefin/SW winners (Girls)

Roinn 4 Annagry/Drumkeen/Downings v Inishowen/South winners (Boys)

Roinn 4 St Baithins/Carrick/Derrybeg v Inishwoen/South winners (Girls)

Roinn 5 (Blitz final) Coimín/Belcruit/Leitir/Mín Tíne Dé/Pettigo/1 other (Boys)- Fri. May 4th in Glenfin @ 10.30am

Roinn 5 (Blitz final) Stramore/Ranafast/Mín Tíne Dé/Drimnacross/Pettigo/1 other (Girls)- Fri. May 4th in Glenfin @ 10.30am

 

*County GAA finals will be held week beginning April 23rd. Teachers are kindly asked to ensure that all their games are played on time and results sent to Mel O’Donnell (PRO) to cumanndl@hotmail.com

 

* Any schools who won county titles last year are asked to give the shields to their Divisional Rep or leave them in Donegal Sports ASAP for collection.

 

ROUNDERS: The finals of the rounders competitions (large & small schools) are fixed for 12th May 2012.

 

MINI 7s: The divisional trials will be held in each division in April. Schools who wish to send children (1boy and 1 girl per school) forward for the Mini 7s should contact their divisional rep. Schools are kindly asked not to nominate any child who has previously been sent forward for trials.
