A huge thanks to all who helped and those who supported the recent carwash despite the weather. Special thanks to Anne and Paul McDevitt for all their help in running this – much appreciated. The Glenveagh 5K was run on Sunday and well done to Fionnuala Diver from Meenaleck who won the race with great runs by Nicola Doherty in 5th place and Helen Mc Cready in 7th place. A number athletes travelled to Dublin at the weekend to compete in the Great Ireland Run in the Phoenix Park today including Fiona Mc Ginley, Fergal Mc Gee, Liam Mc Fadden, Dónal Curran, Denis Forker, Valerie Mc Ginley. A number of athletes competed in the Tír na nÓg 5k Gortahork with Michael Logue (2nd), Nicola Doherty, Maghery (1st Lady), Seamus O Donnell, Aidan Mc Ginley, Marie Timoney, Sinead Sweeney, Ann Marion Sweeney.This weekend sees the Ardara 10k charity fun run/walk on Saturday with a 2pm start.
