CAMOGIE. Congratulations to our U14 camogie team. They played Burt in the county Feile decider in Burt on Sat. In a very intense and close match, Mac Cumhaills won by a point. They now go on to represent the club and county in the Feile Finals in Dublin in July. Well done to all the coaches and players who have worked tirelessly to achieve this tremendous result.

ST MARYS “Congratulations to the St Marys Stranorlar Boys team which won the Cumann na mBun Scoil championship on Thursday beating Gael Scoil Letterkenny. Its been ten long years since St Marys last won the championship so well done to all the players and teachers. It was a fantastic game with the St Mary’s boys eventually pulling away to win by 2-10 to 3-3.The panel was made up of boys that play with the MacCumhaill’s U12 and U13 teams. In addition to the input of the teachers, this acheivement also reflects the great work that has been done with these boys over the years by numerous coaches in the Club and by Paul Finn and Anthony Gallagher in their work in the schools. Well done to everyone involved. John Burke (Chairman – MacCumhaills Minor Board)”

SENIOR FOOTBALL. A mixed bag of results for the Seniors last weekend. Having beaten Glenfinn on Friday night in Mac Cumhaill park, they travelled to Malin on Sunday.
