GAA: KILLYBEGS GAA CLUB NEWS

The Killotto had no winner this week. The numbers were 5, 6, 18 and 29 127. There was one winner of Match 3 Numbers; PaAntonie O’Harat O’Donnell, Fintra rd. Killybegs. Next week’s Killotto jackpot is €3,900 and Match 3 is €60. You can now do the Killotto online. Visit www.locallotto.ie and go to the Killybegs page.

Congratulations to Mary Harkin Stragar, Killybegs who won the Bingo Jackpot €2,750 Next week’s Jackpot will be €1,000 on 45 calls.

 

The seniors drew away to N. Mhuire on Friday night and responded with a home win against Fanad on Sunday. The reserves had no game over the weekend. This Sunday both teams travel to N. Brid at 1.30pm / 3pm.

 

The Minor team also play N. Brid away on Friday night at 7pm.

 

The ladies played their first league game against Naomh Columba last Sunday and lost on a scoreline of 5-11 to 4-11. Well done on a great team performance. They are due to play away to Bundoran this coming Sunday. The ladies held their bag packing fund raiser in Supervalu on Easter Saturday. They wish to thank the management and staff of Supervalu and all their customers for their support.

 

There is a club meeting at 8.30 on Friday in the clubhouse.

 

The U-16’s were defeated by Ardara in 1st leg of championship last Monday and Killybegs won by a point on Monday gone by. They are to play Ardara in the 2nd leg meeting in Ardara next Monday.

 

The U-12’s were in action last Saturday in Ardara in the Divisional Blitz. Training continues Thursday 6.30 – 7.30pm (Bus at 6pm) U-10’s training Wednesday 5.45 – 6.45pm (Bus at 5.30pm) U-8’s training on each Tuesday at 5.45 – 6.45pm and Saturday at 11.30am – 12.30pm. Next coaching meeting takes place next Friday 4th of May at 8pm in clubhouse.

 

U-14’s were defeated last Wednesday by our neighbours Kilcar by 2 points in Towney. Next game is Wednesday at home to N. Ultan at 7pm.

 

Club Membership is now due. You can pay Rita Nolan or Kathleen McCabe.

There is a talent competition on in the Harbour bar on Saturday 28th. €1000 prizes and proceeds go to the Killybegs G.A.A. So come along and support the acts and enjoy the nights.

 

Club Donegal is now available. You can get cards from Rita Nolan at €200 for the year. Killybegs U-16’s are playing Dungloe in Fintra on Sunday 18th at 12pm.
