DDTV: BUNDORAN GETS MAKEOVER ON TONIGHT’S ‘DIRTY OLD TOWNS’ ON RTE

DDTV: A MAKEOVER in Bundoran will feature on RTE’s Dirty Old Towns weekend challenge programme tonight.

The weekend before last Bundoran Tidy Towns along with hundreds of local volunteers and businesses get their cleaning gloves on and their pain brushes out for the Weekend Challenge.

The action plan included art works at East End, beach clean up on Main Beach, planting of top gardens, painting of two shelters and some info signs, walls at West End playground, Bundoran Boat Quay.

The RTE crew arrived down on to film the community project in action. The Weekend Challenge will air tonight, Wednesday 25th April, 8pm on RTE One.

Tune in to see if the revamp got finished on time, get a sense of all the great work that was carried out and the community spirit involved.

Our video shows that Bundoran is already getting ready for Sea Sessions, as Irish artists Eoin O’Connor, Tara Mc Guinness and Gavin McCrea brought Bundoran alive with surf murals painted along the main street.
