ALLIANZ FOOTBALL FINALS: Congratulations to Scoil Chartha,Kilcar on winning the boys Roinn 3 county football title last week in Glenfin where they defeated Kilmacrennan NS. This Tues. May 1st the girls Roinn 3 final will see Kilmacrennan NS in action as they take on Scoil Mhuire, Glenties at the Burn Road in Termon @ 12pm.

 

Roinn 1 Stranorlar 2-11 v Gaelscoil, Leitir Ceanainn 3-4 (Boys)

Roinn 1 Scoil Iosagain, Buncrana 7-9 v Lurgybrack 2-5 (Girls)

Roinn 2 Tooban v Creevy (Boys)

Roinn 2 Scoil Eoin, Moville v Scoil Aodh Rua & Nuala

Roinn 3 Kilmacrennan NS 1-10 v Scoil Chartha,Kilcar 5-6 (Boys)

Roinn 3 Kilmacrennan NS v Glenties (Girls)- Tues. 1st May @ 12pm in Termon

Roinn 4 Downings v Malin/ Gaelscoil, Four Masters (Boys)

Roinn 4 Derrybeg v Frosses (Girls)

Roinn 5 (Blitz final) Coimín/Belcruit/Leitir/Mín Tíne Dé/ (Boys) on Fri. 4th May @ 10am in Glenfin

Roinn 5 (Blitz final) Stramore/Ranafast/Mín Tíne Dé/Drimnacross (Girls) on FRi. 4th May @ 10am in Glenfin

 

MINI 7s: The county trials in this competition were held on the Letterkenny Gaels pitch on Mon. 30th April in football (boys & girls), hurling and camogie. The standard was high throughout with selectors having a tough task in the final selection process. Children will be notified through their schools if they have been selected.

 

 

CO. ROUNDERS FINALS: (small schools) 12th May @ 1pm; (large schools) 19th May @ 3.30pm

 

ULSTER INDOOR: Congratulations to the girls from Scoil Mhuire, Glenties on their recent success in winning the Ulster Indoor football title in Tyrone. The girls overcame Carrickmore NS in the final on a scoreline of 0-7 to 1-3. This was a great achievement as they became the first girls team from the county to win this title.

 

HURLING EXHIBITION GAME: Children from schools in the Gweedore area will play schools from the Tooban/Bridgend area in a half-time exhibition game at the Nicky Rackhard hurling championship game between Donegal and Roscommon in O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny @ 2.30pm on Sat. 5th May. Children are asked to assemble at the front of the stand @ 2pm.
