The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Ted O’Kane, Cavan Lower, Killygordon. Removal from the hospital mortuary chapel today, Saturday, at 4pm, going to his late residence. Funeral from there on Monday at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. The house is strictly private please. Beloved husband of the late Marie and much loved father of Denis, Ann and Mary Lou and brother of Helena, Anna and Betty, daughter-in-law Bridin, grandchildren Hannah and Helen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

The death has taken place of Thomas Tierney, 31 Glendale Drive, Letterkenny. Removal from Letterkenny General Hospital today at 5pm, going to his brother in law Danny Boyle’s residence on Cullion Road. The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Seamus Boyle, London, and formerly of Tullymore, Ardara. His remains will leave the hospice today, Saturday, at 2pm going to his sister Noreen’s residence at Portnoo Road, Ardara. Funeral from there on Monday at 11.30am for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara, followed by burial in the adjoioning cemetery. The death has occurred at her home of Mary Duffy, retired public health nurse, Cottage Farm, Newtowncunningham. Removal from there tomorrow, Sunday, at 1.15pm for Funeral Mass at 2pm in All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
