GAA NOTES: SEAN MACCUMHAILLS

CONGRATULATIONS.

Congratulations to all the boys and girls who made their Confirmation and Holy Communion last weekend. Best of luck to all those making theirs over the next few weeks.

 

RESULTS.

 

3rd TEAM. We took on St Eunans in Mac Cumhaill Park this week. Another good team performance in our second outing, having drawn away to Pettigo.

Final Score was Mac Cumhaills 2-06 St Eunans 1-08. Scorers were Alan Patton 1-02, Packie Gallen 0-01, Paddy Clohessy 0-02, Dennis O Mahoney 1-00 and Anthony Patton 0-01. All scores were from play. Well done lads.

 

MINOR FOOTBALL. Our Minors travelled to Buncrana on Fri evening. Mac Cumhaills put in another very impressive display and were leading by a goal with only 10 mins to go ,when 5 of our players had to leave due to a prior commitment.Final score was Buncrana 4-07 Mac Cumhaills 2-05. Management wants to thank all the lads for travelling and putting in a dedicated performance.

FIXTURES.

 

Mon 7th.U12 Football. Home to Robert Emmetts. 11.00am.

Fri 11th.U18 Hurling. Away to Buncrana. 6.30pm.

U14 Football. Home to Four Masters. 5.30pm.

Sun 13th. Senior/ Reserves Home to Fanad.

FIRST AID/DE-FIB TRAINING

There will be a De-Fib demonstration in the clubhouse this Wed 9th. All managers are asked to attend.

There will be a First Aid course given in the clubhouse on Mon 21st and Tue 22nd May. This is highly recommended for managers. Places limited so book early. Names to John Burke0868185915 or Alan Martin 0861723899

REGISTRATION

Registration is now overdue for 2012. If you are not registered before this date, it will affect your player insurance and your voting rights at the AGM. Please contact Stephen Lynch 0874147764. Cost of membership is: €70 for Family membership, € 30 for Adults and €10 for children.

CLUB MEETING’S

Club meetings will be held on the Last Monday of every Month at the Clubhouse. Any person wishing to get involved in the club please come along or contact any member.
