WELL done to all our club athletes who took part in the North West 10k last Sunday in Letterkenny.

The race was won by Belfast man, Joe McAllister (30.56) followed by our own Patrick Brennan (33.02), Christopher Johnston (33.16). Pauric McKinney finished 5th in a time of 33.31) and club chairman Michael Black crossed the line in 7th place (33.51).

Fionnula Diver (36.52) finished second behind Teresa McGloin in the woman’s race. Next Tuesday the Grand Priz series will be in Kilmacrennan for a 5k race-fun run-walk. The race will get underway at 7.30 pm. For further details contact Noreen McGettigan (086-8988071).

There was one match three winner in the lotto at the weekend. Rosie McGinty won the prizemoney. The numbers drawn were 10, 13, 19 and 22.

The jackpot this Saturday night in The Glencar Inn is €1,150.
