He hit the headlines when his owners abandoned him in a back garden for almost a month.

Now, almost two months after he was found by members of Donegal Pet Rescue, the public is to be given the chance to meet Chance the Boxer dog.

There have been dozens of requests by people across Donegal to adopt Chance but alsop to come and see him.

Now the DPR  is inviting people to come along and say hello to Chance at their charity shop on Thursday 17th May 11am-2pm.

He will be kept in his pen so as not to get him stressed but as many people as possible are being encouraged to attend.

The DPR Charity Shop is located Lower Main Street, Letterkenny, diagonally opposite Old Dunnes, next to FBD Insurance. Phone 086 259 2324
