DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR THURSDAY, MAY 10, 2012

PHILOMENA MCGOWAN

The death has taken place of Philomena McGowan, Drumboe Avenue, Stranorlar. Surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar. Beloved wife of the late Edward and much loved mother of Eamon, Mary and Pat. Sadly missed by her sons, daughter, brother Malachy, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, realtives and friends
Her remains will repose at her home from 6pm Thursday. Funeral from there on Saturday at 1.30pm for 2pm Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Stranorlar, followed by interment in Drumboe cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the patients’ comfort fund, Woodville Ward, St Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar c/o any family member.
Family time please from 11pm to 10am.

MICK PEOPLES

The death has occurred of Michael ‘Mick’ Peoples formerly Kinnycally, St Johnston, brother of Joe Peoples, St Johnston.
Burial will take place in Kendall, England.

WILLIAM GALLAGHER

The death has taken place in Birmingham of William Gallagher, formerly Lower Murroe, Dunfanaghy.
Remains will arrive at Belfast City Airport tomorrow afternoon, Friday, at 4.45pm going to Holy Cross Church, Dunfanaghy, arriving at approximately 845pm.
Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

TONY MONAGHAN

The death has taken place Clydebank, Glasgow of Tony Monaghan, formerly of Carrick, Castlefinn, brother of Kevin Monaghan.
Funeral will take place in St Margaret’s Church, Clydebank on Tuesday next, May 15th, followed by interment in the local cemetery.

LAURENCE LAFFERTY

The death has taken place in Letterkenny General Hospital of Laurence Lafferty, 12 Chapel Rd, Dunfanaghy and formerly of Knocknafaugher. Remains reposing at his late residence. Funeral Mass in Holy Cross Church, Dunfanaghy tomorrow Friday at 11am, with burial afterwards in Doe Cemetery. Family time from 11pm to 10am.
