DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR FRIDAY, MAY 11, 2012

AIMEE LEE MEEHAN

The sudden death has occurred of Aimee Lee Meehan. Daughter of Padraic Meehan and Louise Martin. Grand-daughter of Joseph and Bridie Meehan, Killybegs and Pat and Mary Martin, Mountcharles. Removal from her home on Saturday at 1.30pm going to St Mary’s Church, Killymard for 2.30pm Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Killymard Cemetery.  Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Patient Comfort Fund at Letterkenny General Hospital.

CATHAL O’DONNELL

The death has taken place in the Donegal Hospice of Cathal O’Donnell, Meenbanad,  Burtonport. His remains are reposing at McGlynns Funeral Home, Chapel Road, Dungloe with viewing from 6pm today, Friday and Rosary at 9pm.  Viewing tomorrow, Saturday, from 4pm, with removal at 6.45pm going to Kincasslagh Church, to arrive at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 10am, followed by interment  in Belcruit Cemetery.

MICHAEL ‘MICK’ PEOPLES

The death has occurred of Michael “Mick” Peoples formerly Kinnycally, St Johnston, brother of Joe Peoples, St Johnston. Burial will take place in Kendall, England.

WILLIAM GALLAGHER

The death has taken place in Birmingham of William Gallagher, formerly Lower Murroe, Dunfanaghy. Remains will arrive at Belfast City Airport today, Friday, at 4.45pm, going to Holy Cross Church, Dunfanaghy, arriving at approximately 8.45pm. Funeral mass tomorrow, Saturday, at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

PHILOMENA MCGOWAN

The death has taken place of Philomena Mc Gowan, Drumboe Avenue, Stranorlar. Her remains are reposing at her home. Funeral from there tomorrow, Saturday, at 1.30pm for 2pm Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Stranorlar, followed by interment in Drumboe cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to  the patients’ comfort fund, Woodville Ward, St Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar c/o any family member. Family time please from 11pm to 10am.

TONY MONAGHAN

The death has taken place Clydebank, Glasgow of Tony Monaghan, formerly of Carrick, Castlefinn, brother of Kevin Monaghan. Funeral will take place in St Margaret’s Church, Clydebank on Tuesday next, May 15th, followed by interment in the local cemetery.
