BY DONEGAL LADIES GAA: Hard luck to the Donegal Minor Ladies who suffered a defeat to Tyrone in the Ulster Minor A Final today in Monaghan Harps GAA Grounds.

Final score 4-13 to 2-5. A sincere thank you to all the players and management team of Hugh Donnelly, Maureen O’ Donnell and Kelly Wilson for their hard work, commitment and dedication during the season and for representing Donegal with pride.

Meanwhile the U14 Ladies had a successful day at the National Blitz in Kinnegad today as they beat Galway and Down but unfortunately Westmeath topped the group as they beat Donegal by 4pts.

A good weekend was had by all and we congratulate the girls on their fine performances throughout the Season. A big thank you to their management team of Dermott Foy, Karen Houston and Pauric Mc Croary and team medics Fionnuala Gillespie and Martina Mc Gee. The girls will have a well deserved break from county football over the summer months but preparation is already underway for development squads which will start in September.
