HUNDREDS of people descended on Burt on Sunday for Féile Grianán Ailigh – a superb family day out and festival at the famous fort.

“It was a great event and we had a great variation of food, music, arts and
heritage,” said one of the organisers James Sharkey.

Sword fighting and the bow and arrow demonstrations added to a great spectacle.
