THE planned opening of a new library in Gaoth Dobhair has been postponed.

Junior Minister Dinny McGinley was due to cut the ribbon on the new premises at 4pm today.

The facility at Aislann Ghaoth Dobhair has been open since last October.

The official opening however, due to take place at 4pm today, was postponed after local TD McGinley cited other commitments.
