GAA: NAOMH MHUIRE GAA CLUB NEWS

The under 14s will play away to Four Masters this Wednesday evening. The under 12 A and B teams both will travel to Ardara next Monday evening for their next round of games. Well done to Jack o Donnell and Daniel Ward who both played at half-time during the Donegal v Cavan game on Sunday last. A great start to the Summer league last Friday with 6 teams in action. The league continues every Friday evening at 5.30pm. Check the website for latest tables, fixtures and results.

Under 8s and under 10s training continues every Saturday in the banks from 10am – 11am.

The adult teams are in action this weekend on Sunday with an away trip to Glenfin with 1:30 throw in for Reserves and 3pm for Seniors. Theer was a game schedule for Friday but this has been rescheduled.

The Peil na mBan are running a Bags2Clubs which is a project that specalises in good quality second hand clothing that can be re-use again. Peil na mBan will be collecting clothing, soft toys, paired shoes, hats, belts and handbags. Anyone who has these item and want rid of them should put them in plastic bags and drop them off in the clubhouse and we can sort them out for collection. All proceeds for this fundraiser used by our Girls,u10,u12,u14,u16,minor and ladies teams to ensure we can move forward and attempt to take titles to the club. At the moment we have club players playing on the County u14s and u16s.
Contact any club members if you have stuff for us and we can collect it, or simply leave it in the clubhouse

The u14 girls are out against Naomh Conaill in the banks Tuesday 2nd May at 6.15pm.This is the 1st leg of the girls championship. We have two more game v St’Nauls/ on 29th and MacCumhaills on 5th June.

The senior Ladies have a Division 3 league game in the Banks on Sunday 27th with a 12 noon throw in.

Comhghairdeas dó Jack O’Brien was called into the Donegal Minor Squad for the Opening round of the Ulster Championship v Cavan on Sunday and who progressed to the quarter final against Derry.
