UP TO 12,000 people will attend the Rory Gallagher tribute festival in Ballyshannon this weekend – making it one of the best in the country.
The award-winning festival has attracted tourists from more than 25 countries including America, Switzerland and Sweden.
Dr Feelgood tops the line-up tonight with headline act ex-Rolling Stone Mick Taylor the star attraction on Saturday.
And the brilliant Horslips will rock Ballyshannon on Sunday night.
Minister of State for Tourism Michael Ring officially launched the 1th festival yesterday.
The weekend gigs are the brainchild of party colleague and county councillor Barry O’Neill.
This year’s festival will be hosted in a specially erected tent – dubbed the Big Top!
