Results of All Sports Donegal Town 5k

By Eamon Harvey: Eighteen years old Mark Bonner from the Finn Valley club was an impressive winner of the All Sports Donegal Town 5k on Friday evening. Ran on a beautiful balmy evening on a new and flat course the determined Bonner held off the fast finishing Ivan Tonner form Letterkenny to record a seven seconds winning time of 16mins 41secss. The ever improving Noel Diver from the Rosess AC was third.

Chairmin O’Brien from the Finn Valley club was the first women home ahead of Sinead Peoples. Impressive category winners included Mark Bonner, Junior men, Colin McNulty, Finn Valley M40,Jimmy Renfrew, Enniskillen, M50, Anthony Murray, M60,Nilen Porter, Finn Valley, W40, and Noreen Bonner, Finn Valley, W 50. Gareth Britton, representing All Sports Donegal Town presented prizes to all category winners and valuable spot prizes donated by Cara Pharmacies and SAF [Paddy Donoghue] went to 20lucky recipients.
