GAA: ST EUNAN’S CLUB NEWS

Club Notes – Naomh Adhamhnáin – 04.06.12

The Golf Scramble takes place this Saturday (June 9th) in Barnhill, contact James Friel on 086-8255474 or Dermot Higgins 087-6672118 for details.

The Seniors and Reserves will travel to Glenties on Sunday to take on Naomh Conaill (1:30pm & 3pm). The Juniors will make the trip to Pettigo on Saturday evening for their League game.

The U-12 Boys footballers narrowly failed to retain the Paddy Clifford Cup in Sligo on Saturday, going down after extra time to last year’s beaten finalists, Corofin from Galway. They defeated St. Michael’s in the Park on Monday night and will shortly host the James Gallagher Cup for 2012 (June 16th), more details on that next week. The U11’s defeated Convoy last Friday and are at home to Glenfin this Friday at 6:30pm.

The U-14 Div. 1 team had no game last week and will take on MacCumhaills at home this Friday evening at 7:30pm. The Div. Team travelled to Milford and had a good win, they are at home to Gaoth Dobhair this Wednesday at 7:45pm. The Div. 3 team lost to neighbours the Gaels in a good,competitive game, they host Downings this week at 6:30pm.

The U-14 Hurlers take on arch rivals Buncrana in the Championship semi-final in O’donnell Park this Thursday evening at 7pm, having recently lost the League Final to them. They defeated the Gaels last week to reach this stage.

There is an U8 Hurling blitz on Sunday, more details at the Friday Academy.

The U12 Girls footballers have a blitz at home this Saturday against Robert Emmett’s, Buncrana and the Gaels.

Cúl Camps will be in O’Donnell Park from 2nd July – 6th July. We will also be hosting our own Camps again this year. The Hurling & Camogie is on July 16th – 20th with the Football on July 23rd – 27th.

 

The Friday evening Hurling & Camogie Academy continues weekly at 6:30pm – 8pm.

The Sunday Morning Football Academy is at 11am every Sunday morning.
