It’s already known for its fantastic community spirit.
Glenties have won the National Tidy Towns competition and were just pipped at the post for the world record number of leprechauns!
Now the town is to hold its inaugural busking festival.
The festival takes place on the weekend of June 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
Acts form across the country are expected to turn up in Glenties for what locals hope will become an annual event.
And with €3,500 in prizemoney, the standard promises to be very high indeed.
Rumour has it that even Oscar winner Glen Hansard is planning on giving it a go!
