One game was played in the Ulster Senior League last night- A local derby between Fanad United and Swilly Rovers played in Tri-A-Loch saw the Rameton men managed by Jason Gibson come out on top by 3 goals to 0.

Goalscorers for Gibson’s charges were Terence Shield(2) and Laurence Toland.

Also last night there were two games played in Group A of the USL Cup.

Bonagee United drew 1-1 with Cockhill Celtic at Dry Arch Park. Cockhill took the lead through Aidan McLaughlin on 27 minutes  but United equalised shortly after thanks to Darren Ashmore.

The other game played in Derry saw Drumkeen United come out on top by 3 goals to 1 against Derry City Reserves.

It’s all to play for to see who joins Group B teams Fanad United and Letterkenny Rovers in the semi final.
