FINN VALLEY’S SARAH COLLINS QUALIFIES FOR WORLD JUNIORS

Finn Valley athlete Sarah Collins returned a time of 9.26.80 over 3k in Bern, Switzerland earlier today to qualify for World Juniors in Barcelona in four weeks.

She now joins teammate at Valley Dempsey Mc Guigan , hammer and Letterkenny AC athlete Mark English 800 on the team which will be managed by Valley coach Neil Martin from Glenfin.

Both Dempsey and Sarah compete in the English championships next weekend in Bedford followed by the Irish Nationals in Tullamore June 24th.

Meanwhile Ruairi Finnegan became the fourth Donegal athlete to qulaify for Barcelona yesterday when he recorded a time of 3.46.27 in Watford.
