Naomh Mhuire

There is an under 10 blitz in the banks this Saturday starting at 12pm. The under 16s will play Aodh Ruadh or Four masters in the semi-final of the championship. The under 12s host Aodh Ruadh in the banks in their next game while the under 14s played Gaoth Dobhair in a challenge game last Saturday evening.

The summer league continues every Friday evening at 5.30 – 6:30pm. Check the website for latest tables, fixtures and results.

The Seniors produced a great display last Sunday to record a four point victory over Cloughaneely. The Reserves were beaten but showed great heart and almost produced a strong comeback but ended up getting beat by four. This weekend the Reserves have an outstanding game against Killybegs on Friday evening with a 7:3-pm throw in. The Seniors and Reserves are away to Bundoran on Sunday with a 1:30 and 3pm throw in.

Our club lost one of its great characters last week with the death of Finbar Mc Bride. Finbar was a gentleman and a great servant of his beloved Naomh Mhuire GAA Club. The club wishes to express its sympathies to family and friends. A minute silence was observed by all on Sunday last at the game at the Banks.

Lotto details for week 30th May. Jackpot 2000 euro. No jackpot winner and four match 3 winners: Kathleen O’Donnell – Bun na mBhean, Jimmy Rodgers – Baile Ciarrai, Michael McGee – Rann na feirste, Jimmy Rodgers – Baile Ciarrai. Numbers drawn were 2-8-9-11.

Check out details on www.naomhmhuire.ie.
