LOCAL NEWS: LIFFORD/CLONLEIGH COMMUNITY NOTES

Summer Programme – Cross Border Connections – Mon 18th – Fri 22nd June, Cost €15

This programme is being run by Cross Border Connections who are based in the Lifford Clonleigh Resource Centre. There is a maximum number of 40 spaces available and the programme is suitable for 12 – 18 years olds. Children must bring a packed lunch every day and dress according to the weather.

Below is a timetable of activities for the week:

Monday 18th June,

10a.m – 3p.m Lifford Clonleigh R.C Mask Making

Tuesday 19th June

10a.m – 3p.m Lifford Clonleigh R.C Japanese Drumming

Laser Tag

Wed 20th June

10a.m – 3p.m Lifford Clonleigh R.C T-shirt Printing (subject to change)

Thurs 21st June

10a.m – 3p.m Lifford Clonleigh R.C Games & Activities

Fri 22nd June

10a.m – 4.45p.m (approx.) Bus Departs Lifford Clonleigh R.C Brunswick Bowl & Cinema

20 Year Celebrations, Saturday 23rd June 2012: Below is a list of events which are taking place in the Resource Centre as part of our 20 year celebration day.

• Launch of ABC Little Buds Garden

• Bouncy Castle/ Inflatable Activity Centre

• BBQ

• Tea/Coffee & Cake Stall

• Commercial/Craft Stalls

• Community Group Stalls

• Peg Line/Rounder’s Challenge/Nail It Competition

• Karate Demo/Pop A Balloon/Clothes Basket Rally

• Doughnut Eating Comp/Cup Cake Challenge/Scouts Demo

• Blind Penalty Shoot out

• Children’s Disco

Pio Mc Cann’s Highland Radio Show will broadcast live from the Centre from 12 – 2p.m
