SOCCER: DONEGAL TEAMS IN ACTION IN UNDER 14 KENNEDY CUP

The 2012 Under 14 Kennady Cup is currently underway at the University of Limerick campus and Donegal Schoolboys and the Inishowen Schoolsboys Leagues are representing Ulster in the annual event.

Donegal got their campaign underway with a 1-1 draw with Kildare on Monday evening. Front man Billy Jnr Bandy with the goal.

On Tuesday they played two games,a 0-0 draw with North Tipperary and a very impressive 1-0 victory over North Dublin Schoolboys League- Donegals goal coming from the penalty spot from Enda McCormick. On Wednesday they lost 2-0 to West Cork and today they play the Galway league.

The Inishowen League got their group campaign underway with a 0-0 draw against Roscommon but they were defeated by Wexford 2-0 and Carlow 1-0. Yesterday they were defeated again this time by 2 goals to 1 against Athlone and today they play the Limerick Desmond league.

Donegal 1 – 1 Kildare

Donegal 0 – 0 North Tipperary

Donegal 1-0 NDSL

Donegal 2-0 West Cork

Donegal v Galway(Thursday)

 

Inishowen 0-0 Roscommon

Inishowen 0-2 Wexford

Inishowen 0-1 Carlow

Inishowen 1-2 Athlone

Inishowen v Limerick Desmond League(Thursday)
