Reserves

Convoy Reserves were beaten by a very strong Liford side on a score line of 4-14 to 11 pts

The game was close in the first half but in the second half Lifford finished the stronger with a few goals to seal the victory .

Best for Convoy were Dean Mc Connell and Eunan Kelly

Senior Game

Convoy 1 -08 Lifford 1-16

The Home Side were beaten by a strong Lifford Side at st Marys pitch in Convoy.

Lifford started the game with two quick scores by Paul Lynch and Brian Breslin and they never looked back Lifford had a strong Defence with Jack Quinn working hard to keep the Convoy forwards out

Lorny Crossan ,Emmet Cattersons and Shane Meehan were all on Target and Paul Lynch had a fine first Half display for The Visitors .Packie Mailey scored a well taken goal to leave it 1-02 to 11pts at Half time

The St Marys lads fought back in the Second Half with Raymond Mc Namee and Packie Mailey working hard and some fine scores from Ryan Kettle ,Packie Mailey and Emmet Patterson to bring the game back to a 3 pt deficit but a mistake at the back led to a Goal from Shane Gallagher and put Lifford back in the driving seat and they went on to secure the Victory .

Best Displays from G Mc Girr, S Breslin ,S.Meehan J. Quinn and P. Lynch for Lifford and Best for the Home side were P. Mailey,S.Mc Laughlin,R.Mc Namee ,S.Browne and C.Cairns
