DONEGAL County Council officials have decided to keep an internal report into the workings of a controversial scheme secret.
The Council paid One Sigma Limited a further €90 to review its Whole System of Work (WSW) on top of close to €4M paid to it and associated companies.
The 17-year project was brought in to help the council run better.
But the Council says it doesn’t want to release its internal review in case it prejudices the job of an outside company which the council wants to also review the project.
Councillors were asked to today to approve an external audit which will now go out to tender.
