GAA LEGEND TIPS DONEGAL TO GO ALL THE WAY

It may be early days but one of the GAA’s greatest legends has said Donegal have what it takes to possibly go all the way this year.

Kerry legend Mick O’Dwyer has admitted he was not a fan of Donegal’s brand of football last year.

But Micko has now admitted that he is gradually growing fond of Jim McGuinness’ side.

“I will admit that I certainly wasn’t a fan of Donegal last year.

“But they are opening up now and when you have the likes of Michael Murphy and McFadden up front then they will get plenty of scores.

“I think they could possibly go all the way to an All Ireland,” he said.

Of course there is the small matter of Tyrone to overcome tomorrow in the Ulster semi-final before Donegal can even begin to think of any date in Croke Park.
