A number of commuters were forced to evacuate a bus from Donegal to Dublin yesterday.

The John McGinley bus was traveling close to Monaghan when the incident happened.

An eye-witness revealed how smoke began to come from the bus.

The driver immediately summoned people off the bus to the side of the road.

A new bus was then arranged to complete the remainder of the journey to Dublin.

Nobody was hurt during the incident.
