JUST seven more sleeps for Letterkenny boy Jason McLaughlin – and then he’ll have an album launch to his name.

The 11-year-old from Calhame is a student at Illistrin National School.

But Jason loves nothing more than singing country music.

And next Friday night he’ll launch his new album – featuring six of his favourite songs – at the Lagoon Bar in Termon.

A full country music night featuring some of the county’s top performers will be on hand to wish Jason well as he enters the music business proper.

His album – Hitting The Road – was recorded in the studios of Alec Black in Letterkenny.

We are told that his biggest fans will be there too – mum Helena, dad Kevin and brother Caolan.
