Club Notes – Naomh Adhamhnáin – 09.07.12
The Seniors went down to their first league defeat ina couple of months in Dungloe on Saturday evening. The Reserves however continued their good form with a good win over Dungloe.Both teams travel to Four Masters this Saturday (14th) throw-in’s at 6pm and 7:30pm. The Juniors had no game last week but are due to take on St. Michael’s this Sunday, throw-in time tbc due to Graveyard Mass in Conwal at 4pm.
The Senior Hurlers are in action this Wednesday against MacCumhaills in the Championship before taking on Burt next week.
The U-21’s take on Gaoth Dobhair at home this Tuesday in the 1st round of the Championship this Tuesday (10th).
The Minor footballers are due to take on Cloughaneely in the Northern League Final this Friday (13th) in Convoy at 8pm.
The U16 boys footballers were knocked out of the Championship at the hands of Gaoth Dobhair on Monday night.
The U14 boys footballers take on Four Masters in their county semi-final this Wednesday evening in MacCumhaill Park with a 6pm throw-in.
The U-12 girls hosted a blitz last week, doing very well in all their games. They travel to the Gaels for a blitz this Saturday (14th).
The Minor Hurlers had a hard fought win over a good Aodh Ruadh team, this year’s league champions in the quarter final of the Championship. The lads play Buncrana this Sunday at 7pm at O’Donnell park in the Semi-Final.
The U16 Hurlers opened their League campaign with a loss away to Setanta. The under strength team had a poor first half but improved significantly in the second half as they got to the pace of the game. The U16 Hurlers play at home this Thursday to Carndonagh at 7pm.
Congratulations to Pauric Neeley of St Eunan’s who represented the County in the National U14 Hurling Skills Competition last Friday.
The U12 Hurlers had their first game of the mini-League home to Setanta and ran out winners, St Eunan’s 5.6 to Setanta 3.1. They play away to Carndonagh this Thursday. Details will be available at training.
The U8 Hurlers attended a blitz in Dungloe on Sunday. Thanks to all their supporters who saw 4 exciting matches for the team.
Congratulations to Barry Meehan and his bride Marie on their wedding last week.
All ticket orders for the Ulster Final must be with Charlie McAteer (087-2668633) by midday this Thursday (12th). This game is all ticket.
Time is running out to get booked for the Summer Camps and get the Giveaway pack. The Hurling & Camogie Camp is on next week (July 16th – 20th) with Football taking place the following week (July 23rd – 27th).
