JOBS BOOST: 75 NEW POSTS WITH HOMECARE HEALTH COMPANY

Home Care provider Bluebird Care have today announced 75 new jobs for Co. Donegal. It comes on the back of their appointment last week as an approved provider for enhanced homecare packages 2012 (services for older persons) in Donegal.

Bluebird Care are now advertising positions for care workers, live-in care workers and registered nurses – RNID, RGN’s and RPN’s. The jobs cover the county and are in the following areas, Letterkenny, Fanad, Pettigo, Donegal Town, Ballyshannon, Inishowen, Glencolmcille, Gweedore, Derrybeg, Dungloe, Lifford, Downings, Kilmacrennan and Creeslough.

Marty Kelly, Director of Bluebird Care Donegal says,“we have an exceptional team here at Bluebird Care that make a real difference to the lives of so many people within the community. We are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome new team members on board creating much-needed employment across every corner of Donegal.

“Having recently employed 15 new carers in June, totaling our number of staff to 127, we look forward to creating more job opportunities and welcome all applications now.”

Interested candidates should hold a FETAC Level 5 (8 Modules) Health Care Assistant and/or An Bord Altranais Registration (Nurses) and have experience in delivering high quality care. Preference will be given to candidates who also demonstrate their reliability, self-motivation, dedication and passion about high standards. Candidates also need a full driving license and own their own car.

Experience in caring for children, young adults and older people, as well as experience with physical and sensory or learning disability care is also welcome.

Full training will be provided for successful applicants including people handling training; ongoing training and development; in-house training modules; Bluebird Care induction programme and Garda vetting.

Having recently been appointed as a HSE approved provider for enhanced homecare packages 2012 (services for older persons), Bluebird Care pride themselves on meeting and indeed exceeding standards and delivering the highest level of care within the community.
