> We began training in January, on the beach in Narin and on the astro-turf at the Dolmen Centre, during rain and hailstones, but we stuck it through. In early March we moved training to the pitch. We started the league with a home victory over Kilcar, came through a tough game with Naomh Columba to take the points. We lost our 3rd game away to Naomh Conaill. In round 2 we took victories against Cloughneeley, Naomh Columba and Glenswilly. Losing only to our opponents in the final now Four Masters. Played a strong Milford team in our semi-final, we were well behind with 10-15 minutes to go, we made a remarkable comeback and won by 2 points in very wet conditions. We are now looking forward to the final and training very hard. And we know Thomas (Maguire) will be looking down on us from heaven when we play our final.
