Former staff of the Ostan are organising a reunion Dinner Dance on August 18th in the Ostan. Anyone who worked there from 1969 until the early eighties, when it was taken over by Willie Forker, and are interested please contact for tickets before August 7th.

children aged 9years + €3.00 per night
B’port/Kincasslagh Water Safety Weeks
Donegal Water Safety will begin the 1st Water Safety Week in our area on Monday 16th July.
Swim lessons at the block yard beach in Keadue from 10.00 a.m. each morning and are suitable for ages 4 upwards. Registration from 9.30 on Monday morning and more specific group times will be decided at this point.
Safety and rescue training will take place at the bridge in Cruit from 1.00 p.m. and is suitable for ages 12+ who are competent swimmers. Registration at 1.00 p.m. at the bridge.
Cost per child for weekly sessions is €30 (Family concessions available).
A second week of Water Safety Training will take place on week beginning 13th August.
Croagh Patrick
‘The annual National Pilgrimage to Croagh Patrick takes place on Sunday July 29th 2012.
Confessions will be heard on the summit of the mountain continuously from 7.30am to 2.00pm. Mass will be celebrated on the summit every half hour. The first Mass on the summit will be at 8.00am. The last Mass will be celebrated at 2.00pm. The pilgrimage will be lead by Most Rev. Michael Neary, Archbishop of Tuam, who this year will be joined by the Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland, His Excellency Most Rev. Charles Brown.’
Lough Derg
The traditional Lough Derg 3-day pilgrimage season continues until Wednesday 15th August. Pilgrims can arrive at Lough Derg on any given day until Monday 13th August between 10:15am and 3:00pm. If you can’t make it for the traditional three day pilgrimage, then why not come for a day. Day Retreats and a special programme of workshops and guided prayer retreats will resume on Friday 17th August. FAI Festival of Football Donegal 2012 will host a free FAI Football Fun Day on Wed 18th July @ the new Shorefront Community Pitch, Dungloe, 2pm – 5pm. Giant Human Foosball Pitch, Speed Gun – Test the Speed of your Shot! Penalty Shootout Target, Soccer Skills.

Cup Cake and Cuppa Morning: In aid of Dungloe Day Centre – Dungloe Hospital will take place in Ionad Teampall Chroine on Mon 16th July from 10am – 12noon. Everyone Welcome. Come along and support your local hospital.
FAI to visit Keadue Central Park
This coming Wednesday 18th July the FAI as part of their AGM this year, which will be held in Donegal, they will be travelling around some clubs in the west of the county and at 4pm that day they will visit Keadue Rovers ground at Central Park at 4pm. While there they will turn the sod on the new training facility beside the main pitch. FAI chief John Delaney will be present as well as former Irish international Ray Houghton and hopefully a few more former international players. We hope to have as many club players, volunteers and underage players there on the days for what should be a very enjoyable occasion.
