The funeral takes place today of young Jamie Toner who was killed in a tragic farm accident at the weekend.

The 11 year old from Churchill will be buried at Templedouglas Cemetery following 1pm mass at St Colmcille’s Church in Glendowan.

Among those who will attend Jamie’s mass are his heartbroken teachers and fellow pupils at Stramore National School where he was a hugely popular young boy.

Jamie died followed an accident at his uncle’s farm at Glenvar in Kerrykeel on Saturday afternoon last.

Among the chief mourners at today’s funeral will be Jamie’s parents James and Roisin and his sister Lynn.

Deepest sympathy is expressed to the family at this time.
