In a hard hitting but clean contest, both sides gave their all. Glenfin trailed by 4pts at half time despite having led by 4pts earlier in the half.
A Conor McBride goal was well cancelled by three Buncrana goals. Ethan O Donnell struck the post with a Glenfin penalty in the second half, but he was quick enough to tap in the rebound. a couple of points from Jason Morrow kept Glenfin level as the game entered the closing stages, and just when the game seemed set for extra time, Eoin Donnellan tapped over the winning point with nearly the last kick of the game. The win was harsh on Buncrana as a draw would probably have been a fair result. Lorcan Donnellan lifted the cup for Glenfin. Final Score Glenfin 2-!0, Buncrana 3-6.
