LADIES GAA: There was heartache for Donegal Ladies brave U-16 girls side today when they lost out to Tyrone in the Ulster final…after taking the Red Hands to extra time.
The superb game at Devinish in Co Fermanagh had ended all square at 3-12 each.
But Tyrone edged away in the two periods of extra time – eventually winning 4-15 to 3-16 – a winning margin of just two points.
Congratulations to the Donegal girls for a battling performance, particularly in the second half comeback.
You did your county proud.
