THEY are the biggest rivals in the English Premiership – whatever Man City fans might say.
Liverpool and Man United almost NEVER come together.
But here in Co Donegal later this month, their fans will – to raise money for charity.
Organiser Marcus Oliver explained: “Friday the 17th August will see a unique football match between the Liverpool Supporters and the Manchester United supporters
“The game promises to be an entertaining affair and takes place at the excellent Bonagee United’s Dry Arch ground, Letterkenny, with a 6.30pm kick off.
“The game is part of a charity fundraiser in aid of the Cardiac Unit in Our Lady’s Hospital For Sick Children in Crumlin.
“After the rigors of the football game there will be a fundraising table quiz in Arena 7 at 9pm, with complimentary food and good prizes to be won. So if you can’t make it to the football, there is still a chance to take part in proceedings.
