A CO Donegal man tonight won a €83,500 on RTE’s Big Money Game – seeing off a competitor from Co Kerry!

Newtowncunningham man Daniel Rodgers travelled to Dublin with 21 family and friends and found the golden keys to play for big money.

His family were dressed in Donegal GAA tops – just feet from a Co Kerry man’s family waving Kerry flags.

The chip shop owner was delighted to be on the show – his business was raided by thieves more than week ago, leaving behind a €1,500 repair bill.

And dancing enthusiast Daniel got a chance to show presenter Sinead Kennedy how to dance the ‘cha cha cha’

In Jokers Wild Daniel scooped €25,000 – avoiding the dreaded Joker card.

And he added another €8,500 in the second and third rounds.

Kerry man Tim Scannell from Killarney went into an early lead.

But Daniel stormed back to win another €50,000 in the Big Money game – taking €83,500 back to Co Donegal tonight.
