Donegal athlete Catriona Jennings finished a disappointing last in today’s Women’s Marathon at the London Olympics.
The Letterkenny woman appeared to struggle early on and may have picked up an injury.
However to her credit she battled on and received a huge applause for the large Irish support on the streets of England’s capital city.
Jennings eventually finished in a time of 3 hrs 22 mins and 11 seconds – a long way outside of her personal best time.
