Suncream and sandals are the order of today and hopefully the rest of the week as temperatures begin to climb across Co Donegal.
Met Eireann say the weather and the temperatures will improve this week and could hit 25 degrees by Friday.
We don’t know how long it will last but the message is to get out there while it does.
Beaches have been busy across Donegal already as people form Rathmullan to Bundoran try to salvage the best of the summer weather.
A spokesman for Met Eireann told Donegal Daily that the temperatures are actually going to be above normal for this time of year.
“Temepratures will reach a high of 25 degrees in places which is above average for this time of year.
“There will be showers but they will be few and far between.
“We can never tell how long this good spell will last so people should make the most of it while they can,” he said.
